Laura
Norman – Lenny MaGrath
Laura earned her B.A. in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting
from the University of Northern Colorado/ She is grateful
for the opportunity to work with Terry, Emily, and Megan
again, as well as the rest of this amazing cast. Laura
most recently appeared as Wren in Modern Muse Theatre
Company’s regional premier of A Body of Water
(Winner of the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama by Westword’s
Best of Denver). She was last seen here at the Vic as
Valarie in The Weir (Nominated for Best Actress
in a Play - Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Awards). Other
favorite roles include Harper in Angels in America
- I and II (Winner for Best Actress in a Drama–
Denver Post Ovation Award and Westword’s Best of
Denver), Molly in The Smell of the Kill, and
Stephanie in O Bury Me Not On the Lone Prairie.
She worked with numerous theatre companies in Colorado,
including Bas Bleu Theatre Company, Paragon Theatre company,
Shadow Theatre Company, The Avenue Theatre, Theatreworks,
Next Stage, South Suburban Theatre Company, and The Playwright

Susan
Scott – Chick Boyle
Susan is a proud Colorado native most recently seen on stage
as Bobbi in Some Girl(s) with Firehouse Theatre
Company; Betty, Swift and Mrs. Trotsky in All in the
Timing with Modern Muse Theatre Company, and as Dawn
in the Miners Alley Playhouse production of Lobby Hero.
Prior to that, she gushed in the ensemble of Almost,
Maine at the Aurora Fox, and played Amy in the premiere
of Someone Else’s Life with Conundrum Productions.
Susan also portrayed Ceres, Psyche, Pomona and other ensemble
roles in the long running regional premiere of Mary Zimmerman's
Metamorphoses at the Avenue Theatre (Denver Post
Ovation Award for “Best Drama” and “Best
Ensemble” 2004). Other favorite roles include; Nurse
Higgins in Land of the Dolls, Faith in the staged
reading of the U.S. Theatre Project’s Columbinus,
Rachel in Reckless, Kim in Patient A,
Anna in Burn This, Melissa in Love Letters
and Carol in Oleanna. Susan received a B.A. in
Theater from Colorado State University.

Nils
Swanson – Doc Porter
Nils has been performing in Denver theatre now for over
20 years. He was last seen as the title character in The
Vic’s production of Jacob Marley’s Christmas
Carol. Nils is happy to be a part of this fun filled
productions. Special thanks to the cast and crew and mostly
Brian, Rita, my parents, and God. Thanks All.

Megan
Van De Hey – Meg MaGrath
Megan is excited to be at the Denver Vic for the first time.
Recent Denver credits include: Patsy Cline in Always,
Patsy Cline and Woman #2 in I Love You, You're
Perfect, Now Change at Town Hall Arts Center, the World
Premiere of Mall-Mart The Musical at Curious Theatre,
Smell of the Kill at The Avenue and Party Of
One at The Playwright Theatre. Prior to performing
in Denver, Megan spent 7 years working in and around the
Chicago area. Megan is a three-time Chicago Joseph Jefferson
Award Nominee for Outstanding Leading/Supporting Actress,
and this last year was nominated for a Denver Post Ovation
Award for her work in Smell of the Kill. Megan
can be heard on the original cast recording of the musical
Madame X and was featured in the opening act of
Russell Crowe's band 30-Odd-Foot-of-Grunts at the
Chicago House of Blues.

Emily
Paton Davies – Babe Botrelle
A member of Paragon Theatre’s ensemble since 2004,
Emily has performed with theatres throughout Denver including
the Aurora Fox, the Avenue Theatre, Germinal Stage, Littleton
Town Hall, Modern Muse and Theatre Group. In 2007, Emily
received the Colorado Theatre Guild’s Henry Award
for Outstanding Actress In A Play for her work in Paragon’s
production of Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune.
Named the Rocky Mountain News' Top Actress for 2004, Emily
has also received four Denver Post Ovation Award nominations
over the years. She thanks Terry for reuniting her with
her “sisters” on this project, and sends her
love to TWB and to her big brother, Evan.

Brian
J. Brooks – Barnette Lloyd
Brian is a theater graduate from The University of Northern
Colorado, Brian has appeared in numerous Denver shows over
the past year. Typically acting for The Denver Victorian
Playhouse, Brian has also interned with stage crews at The
Denver Center. Favorite credits include Actor# 4 in Jacob
Marley’s Christmas Carol, Edmund in A Murder
is Announced, Juror#12 in 12 Angry Men, Leduc
in Incident at Vichy, Dan in Closer and
Jim Shiply in 21A. Brian is honored to be working
with Terry once again. Thanks to my friends and family.
Brian would also like to note what a privilege it was to
work with some of the most talented women he's ever done
a show with.

Terry’s past productions at the Denver Vic as director
include: Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol; The Weir; Twelfth
Night; The Holdup and The Voice of the Prairie.
Other recent productions include: Of Mice and Men
(Arvada); The Caretaker (Paragon); The Smell
of the Kill (Avenue); Man from Nebraska (Lake
Dillon); Lobby Hero (Miner's Alley); A Raisin
in the Sun (Arvada) and Angels in America - Perestroika
(Bas Bleu). Upcoming projects include; The Hot L Baltimore
(environmental - Barth Hotel) opening mid-July.
