Pete Nelson – Jack
Pete has been working in the Denver area since 1996, and
is delighted to be appearing in his second show at The
Vic. This is his first time working with Terry Dodd, and
thanks Terry for the opportunity to be playing Jack. Pete
was last seen in the Miner’s Alley Playhouse production
of The Rainmaker. Other recent efforts include
The Deadly Game at The Vic, Run For Your
Wife at Miner’s Alley (directed by Wade Wood),
The Underpants, in 2005, and The Fantasticks
in 2004. Pete holds a BSE in Speech and Theatre from Emporia
State University in Kansas, and keeps his vocal skills
in tune on Sunday mornings singing with the St. Gregory’s
Episcopal Church Choir.

Joel Sutliff – Brandon
Joel is thrilled to be working at the Denver Victorian
Playhouse! Recently, Joel was seen in Chess with
Next Stage and Aida at the Arvada Center. Prior
to that, Joel spent 8 years working in Chicago and all
over the Midwest. Favorite roles: George in Sunday
in the Park with George, Valentine in Arcadia,
Burrs in The Wild Party, Larry in The Waiting
Room, Bo in Bus Stop, and Joe in The
Spitfire Grill. Joel would like to thank Terry and
the Vic for the chance to play barman to these feckin’
loolahs! Love to Meg – his Dutch-Irish lass!

Gregory J. Adams – Jim
Gregory J. Adams is very excited to make his
Victorian Playhouse debut with such a talented and creative
cast and crew. His most recent roles include Leon Czolgosz
in Next Stage's production of Assassins (CTG
Henry Award-Outstanding Musical, Westword 2005-Best Musical)
and the title role of Bas Bleu Theatre's The Swan.
He was honored as a 2005 Denver Post Ovation nominee for
"Best Year by An Actor" for his performances
as Werner Heisenberg in Copenhagen (Openstage
Theatre, 2005 OPUS Nominee-Best Actor), Happy Loman in
Death of a Salesman (Bas Bleu Theatre), and Assassins. Favorite
roles include the title role in Hamlet and Tom
Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie (TARA Award-Best
Actor, Best Play) with Longmont Theatre Company, First
Officer Murdoch in Titanic with Front Range Music
Theatre, Louis the Baker in Sunday in the Park with
George with Trouble Cleff Theatre Company, and the
Young Man in A Streetcar Named Desire with Nomad
Theatre. Gregg actively trains in stage combat and is
a member of the Colorado Fight Club.

Wade P. Wood – Finbar/Executive Producer
Wade has been involved in theater in the Denver area for
many years as both a director and an actor. Favorite roles
include Henry in The Lion in Winter and Lt. Col
Jessup in A Few Good Men and was most recently
seen in the role of Garfinkle in Other People’s
Money. Most recently he directed Run for Your
Wife at Miners Alley and Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s
Wild Christmas Binge returning to the Vic again this
Holiday Season.

Laura Norman – Valerie
Laura earned her B.A. in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting
from the University of Northern Colorado. She is thrilled
to be working at The Vic, with an amazing cast and crew,
and for the opportunity to work with Terry Dodd again. Favorite
past roles include Harper in Angels in America - I and
II (Best Actress in a Drama – Denver Post Ovation
Award and Westword’s Best of Denver), Molly in The
Smell of the Kill, Stephanie in O Bury Me Not on
the Lone Prairie, and Liz in The Water Children.
In March 2007 she will be seen as Lisa Davis in the Next
Stage production of Match. In Colorado she has
performed with Bas Bleu Theatre Company, The Avenue Theater,
Shadow Theatre Company, The Bug Theatre, Bug Children's
Theatre Series, South Suburban Theatre Company, and The
Playwright Theatre. She has also appeared in independent
films in Colorado, as well as commercial and industrial
work. Love and gratitude to her supportive family and friends,
especially to James.

Dodd – Director
Terry has been directing and writing shows for over 25 years
up and down the Front Range. Past shows here
at The Vic include: The Voice of the Prairie &
The Holdup. Other recent shows include: The
Man from Nebraska (Dillon); The Caretaker
(Paragon); The Smell of the Kill (Avenue); A
Raisin in the Sun (Arvada); Angels in America
(Perestroika)(Bas Bleu) & Wit (Nomads)
& Private Eyes (Miner's Alley). Other
favorites include: Stanton's Garage (environmental)
& The Hot L Baltimore (environmental); Three
Viewings (Bas Bleu & Aurora Fox); Three
Hotels (Nomads); The Ice-Fishing Play and
Fully Committed (Aurora Fox). Upcoming shows
include: Twelfth Night (The Vic); Lobby Hero
(Miner's Alley). As a playwright his scripts include: Goodnight,
Texas (Denver Center); Amateur Night at the Big
Heart (Arvada); Vaughn, New Mexico, Christmas Eve,
1956 (Denver Civic) & First Night or whatever
(commissioned to open the Newman Center at the U. of Denver).
His new play, Home by Dark will have it's World
Premiere at Miner's Alley in Sept. 2007. A big thank-you
to the gang & wonderful cast at The Vic for letting
me sit in the kitchen once again (it reminds me of my Grandparents),
to Wade and Lorraine for making the magic happen, Sarah
for her endless energy, Robbie for keeping everyone
in line and Kathleen for keeping us on the straight-and-narrow
(that would be a fairy road).
